The High Stack Law Firm is among the oldest and most accomplished personal injury firms in the state of Florida, and we have been fighting for the rights of the injured for more than half a century. Founded in 1962 in Miami by Charles “Bud” R. Stack and then mayor of Miami, Robert King High, the firm was later joined by Edward B. Davis, who was appointed by President Jimmy Carter as a United States District Court Judge. In the years that followed, High Stack opened its Melbourne office, and we have since that time assisted hundreds of clients with all types of cases, recovering more than $100 million in verdicts and settlements.

Bud Stack was nationally certified as a trial lawyer through the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He was also board certified by the Florida Bar since The Florida Bar first established certifications. He attained numerous million dollar plus verdicts and settlements, some which are record-makers, and is one of the founding members of the law firm.

Owner
David S. Gordon is admitted to practice in all State of Florida Courts, as well as the United States District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida. Mr. Gordon has handled numerous cases with million-dollar-plus results. The first multi-million dollar settlement was attained after only one year of practice.

Nathan A. Romanic
Associate
Nathan A. Romanic joined High Stack Gordon Kirby as a civil litigation attorney in 2008. Prior to joining High Stack, Mr. Romanic began his legal career with Morgan & Hires, P.a., a central Florida-based plaintiff’s rights practice. He also worked with Earth Justice, LLC, a nationally renowned non-profit public interest law firm.

Paul S. Wight
Associate
Paul S. Wight became an associate of the High Stack Gordon law firm in 2014. He is admitted to practice in all State of Florida Courts, as well as the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Mr. Wight handles a wide variety of civil litigation matters, including bodily injury and wrongful death, insurance and contract disputes, civil rights violations, local small business representation, nursing home abuse, and other causes of negligence.
