Paul S. Wight
Biography
Paul S. Wight became an associate of the High Stack Gordon law firm in 2014. He is admitted to practice in all State of Florida Courts, as well as the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Mr. Wight handles a wide variety of civil litigation matters, including bodily injury and wrongful death, insurance and contract disputes, civil rights violations, local small business representation, nursing home abuse, and other causes of negligence.
Prior to joining High Stack Gordon, Mr. Wight worked for the office of the Public Defender for the 18th Judicial Circuit. As an assistant Public Defender, Mr. Wight tried numerous cases to jury verdicts and defended several high-profile criminal cases. Mr. Wight has attended the Gerald T. Bennett Prosecutor / Public Defender Trial Training Program at the University of Florida College of Law. He is a member of several professional organizations, most notably the Florida Bar, the American Bar Association, the Vasser B. Carlton Inns of Court, and the Brevard County Bar.
He is a graduate of Florida State University, where he earned his B.S. in Information Sciences. Mr. Wight received his law degree from the Florida Coastal School of Law. Mr. Wight grew up in north Florida and resides in Cocoa Beach with his wife and daughter.
